We have created a price structure so that the retail operation can be competitive. Although lubricants, as a consumed item, are frequently used to build traffic as a loss leader, we price it so that it can be competitive and still be a profit center.

Quality
|
All of our products meet the required API, SAE, GM-Dexron and Ford Motor Company-Mercon licenses and certifications. They will match or exceed any product of similar classification.

Quality Control
|
Every batch of every product is pre-tested before packaging. Metals are spectrograph tested by an independent lab to assure that they are formulated according to OEM specifications. A sample of every batch is kept in our lab. The batch is coded to coincide with coding on the product to identify any item.

Product Advancement
|
We consider every detail. As an example, unlike the pull off cap used by most majors, we can use a heat induction cap. This Tylenol-like cap almost eliminates leakage and is child resistant. It costs more but the advantages fit with our quality philosophy.

Company Flexibility
|
Although we are servicing major accounts, we are a small company. We are set up to give prompt and quality service. As a small company, PPC has company executives in addition to the regional manager executive involved in day-to-day business. We do not have to go to committees and say "May I?". Action is prompt and decisive. We have the flexibility to operate quickly in any emergency need for product or any other need or promotion. We also have the time to think about - and work with - each customer. It's not just on visits.

We recently acquired three additional buildings and two bottling companies that add considerably to our capacity. The bottling company acquisition provides an on site source that enhances service abilities.
